Light Up Arlington Returns for 2014!

Get ready for an evening full of fun and excitement, because Light Up Arlington will be back again on July 3, taking over the streets of downtown Arlington! An annual favorite of residents throughout the city, the festival will feature two live music stages, delicious food, popular retail vendors, a kid’s entertainment area, incredible street performers and a stunning fireworks show the whole family will enjoy. The fun is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and run to 11 p.m., giving attendees five hours of endless entertainment! Toyota to Switch Focus from EVs to Fuel Cell Development

Toyota’s North American CEO, Jim Lentz, recently spoke at Forbes Brainstorm Green conference, and during the discussion, he let it be known that Toyota will be putting their focus on fuel cells and taking a step back from EVs, which Lentz doesn’t feel is the future of car development. It has been widely known for quite some time that the automaker has a strong interest in the expansion of fuel cells and they have every intention of exploring their use, which they believe will be a greater alternative than EVs.

Toyota Honored for Diversity

Toyota is a company that has always promoted diversity, and to honor their efforts, DiversityInc has named them one of their Top 50 Companies for Diversity in 2014. Out of all the automakers, Toyota was the only brand to earn a spot on the list and this year marks the eighth time they've been included, placing number 38 out of 50 companies.
